Flowers to Road Kill

Okay, sorry. Talk about one extreme to the other. My good friend Ruth walks everyday. It doesn't matter if it is cold, hot or raining. You always see a bag in hand. She picks up all kind of goodies. She has a walking partner, Margaret, also a good friend. They often fight over found objects. Play fights, that if they were both younger they could be more interesting.

I went by Ruth's and these were out to dry. She isn't sure what she is going to do with them. So I thought of you all. What would you do with these? I was thinking this morning that after they are dry, that she should spray paint them.

Flowers are blooming!

I knew it had been a while since I posted, I didn't realize that it had been a year! Oops.....

For those of you who don't know this, I purchase a lot of junk jewelry and before you know it you have huge collections of some things. Good and bad. I have always loved the vintage enamel flowers. Oh heck, I just love flowers. Daisies and Zinnias are my faves. Anyway, I have been really cleaning out my playroom and have been surprised (not really) of how much stuff I have. It's also good to mention that I have no room to display my pretties.

Well here are my flowers brooches. I have a few of them and the majority are in good condition. I really love them all, but don't need to keep them all. I want others to enjoy them also. I may sell some on Etsy and or Ebay. Over the years I have had different projects in mind. None of which would hurt the pins. The idea I have played with the most is making little floral pictures and framing them. Needless to say I have lots of leaf brooches and lots of "critter" brooches, bugs and animals. I also collect different fabrics pieces to use for backgrounds. I have tons of metal zippers that could be used for stems. What do you think? What would you do with all of these?

Keychains...Anthony X 65 or so...

I was at the Salvation Army the other day and I noticed this big bag of keychains. I figured there would be different names on them. Nope, just Anthony, Anthony, Anthony. Well, they were only $2.99. I figured I could at least use the hardware and it would be a good deal. Then I thought I could cover them somehow.

What do you think?

Shotgun shells......and other shells.

Okay, I got these off of freecycle. The shotgun shells have a really cool bottom on them that could possibly be cut off and used as a bezel? I read in a craft to do book about using shells as jewelry charms. You can drill holes in the side to run a chain through. Then you can glue feathers or something inside.

Help me out here. I think they have potential.

Medals of honor.......What to do?

Okay, I don't always pick these things up at any one time. When you buy bags of stuff, you get a little of everything and before you know it you have a collection. I got some of these in junk jewelry lots (people throw them in because they have weight to them) and other places.

I think they have potential. The only downside is that they are a little heavy.

What can I do with this?

Let's get started Crafters....What can I do with these?

Okay, I went to an estate sale one day and got a bunch of bezel type hardware. Here are some pics. What can I do with these? Across the top row is a belt buckle (no bezel), then this buckle has a magnet in the bezel. I also have some without the magnets.
There are 2 tie clips, some with magnets, some without. In the middle on the left are 3 bezels 2 are flat on the back and one has a clip thing on the back. On the right side are 2 bezels that have stick pins on the back. Then there are 3 money clips and a FORE belt buckle. There must be something I can do to cover FORE.

Here is a pic of the backs.

So, what can I do with these?
