Flowers are blooming!

I knew it had been a while since I posted, I didn't realize that it had been a year! Oops.....

For those of you who don't know this, I purchase a lot of junk jewelry and before you know it you have huge collections of some things. Good and bad. I have always loved the vintage enamel flowers. Oh heck, I just love flowers. Daisies and Zinnias are my faves. Anyway, I have been really cleaning out my playroom and have been surprised (not really) of how much stuff I have. It's also good to mention that I have no room to display my pretties.

Well here are my flowers brooches. I have a few of them and the majority are in good condition. I really love them all, but don't need to keep them all. I want others to enjoy them also. I may sell some on Etsy and or Ebay. Over the years I have had different projects in mind. None of which would hurt the pins. The idea I have played with the most is making little floral pictures and framing them. Needless to say I have lots of leaf brooches and lots of "critter" brooches, bugs and animals. I also collect different fabrics pieces to use for backgrounds. I have tons of metal zippers that could be used for stems. What do you think? What would you do with all of these?

Wow! I thought I had a lot of flower pins. You have me beat by miles. My thought was always to put some of them on floral stems and make them enamel flowers. I think a small vase with five or six flowers would look great.

I made a Christmas tree, pumpkin and heart completely covered with jewelry. Maybe a wooden cutout of a flower, then fill it in with the flowers. That would be excellent. I use beads and buttons as fillers on my pieces. You look like my kind of collector, so I am sure you have filler beads!

Hi, Mary,
Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you'll check back from time to time. My oh my, you have quite a 'stash' of flower pins & brooches!
I do mosaics, so plan to use some of the 'junk jewelry' I've acquired in that way.
Looks like you are a really a creative gal!
Hope you have fun if you go to Mt. Dora!

I think they are gorgeous and dont blame you for collecting them. I might have to look out for some of these they are beautiful.
I think your framed idea sounds ideal for them and will look so beautiful while preserving the pins

I am selfish and don't want to give you any ideas so that I can buy some, LOL!

I would find a mirror with a nice wide frame and glue them around it...

I love those flowers (needless to say). I have made a couple of fantastic finds recently and will soon be showing what I have made!

The mirror is a great idea also!
I had thought about selling some, but it is hard to let go!
